People on the Move: Nicolette Kost De Sevres, Mayer Brown
Mayer Brown LLP has added Nicolette Kost De Sevres to the firm’s Washington D.C., office, where she will serve as a partner in the litigation and dispute resolution practice. Kost De Sevres has 17 years of experience as an attorney in the corporate and financial regulatory sector. Most recently, she was a senior policy adviser at DLA Piper, where she served as co-head of the firm’s U.S. financial and technology (fintech) compliance practice.
Kost De Sevres also has several years of in-house experience, including servicing as special senior counsel in the New York Stock Exchange’s Paris office and as senior special counsel at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London, where she advised on regulatory reforms and the implementation of new regulatory requirements. Kost De Sevres also acted as chief of staff and special adviser to the president of the financial markets regulator in Montreal.
