People on the Move: Carlos Solari, Comodo
Comodo, a global developer of cybersecurity solutions and digital certificates, has hired Carlos Solari as vice president of cyber security services. In the role, Solari will help lead efforts to grow Comodo’s managed security services for web, Internet of Things and industrial control systems cybersecurity.
Solari has extensive experience in IT and cybersecurity, most notably serving as CIO for the White House from 2002-2005, where he was instrumental in the development and implementation of the strategy and enterprise architecture for major systems renovation, according to an announcement. Prior to joining the White House, Solari served for more than 20 years in public service, including 13 years in the Army and six in the FBI’s Criminal Investigation Division managing several large IT programs.
