Marshland FCU goes soft for Bankjoy’s banking
US-based Marshland Federal Credit Union has turned on its new mobile and online banking system powered by Bankjoy.
Michael Duncan, CEO at Bankjoy, is vague on any details but is in a very folksy and schmaltzy mood concerning the visit to Georgia.
He notes: “It was a pleasure visiting Marshland FCU. As credit union members visited the branch, employees easily recalled their names and shared experiences, shared laughs, and served with genuine smiles.
“I had a chance to meet some of their long-time members and hear their stories. Many of them had children and grandchildren who were members too.”
Tears have probably formed in the eyes of many of our readers.
Staying on the theme of “laughs” and “genuine smiles”, Bankjoy is making pretty good progress in the sentimental States.
Other deals include Credit Union of Ohio, SafeAmerica CU, and Coca-Cola Credit Union.
Last year, and in a separate deal, Marshland FCU was one of the takers for Corelation’s new core processing platform, Keystone.
Marshland FCU, which is based in Brunswick, can trace its origins back to January 1953, when the Glynn Teachers Federal Credit Union was created for the “educators” at the Glynn County School System and their families.
