Banco Ficensa live with new core banking system, Datapro’s e-IBS
Honduras-based Banco Ficensa has migrated from its legacy tech onto new core banking software, e-IBS, provided by regional vendor Datapro.
The vendor says the implementation was “transparent and efficient” and the move “will increase the range of financial services that the bank offers to its clients”.
According to Datapro, its flagship core banking offering – which can be deployed onsite as well as on hosted basis – is now present in 54 Central and South American banks.
Other users of e-IBS include Mercantil Banco and UniBank in Panama, G&T Continental in El Salvador, Banco Internacional in Chile, and Banco del Pacifico in Equador. Meanwhile, Panama-based Prival Bank is in the process of replacing e-IBS with Temenos’ T24.
