Delio to provide start-up funding platform for Fintech Alliance
Welsh company Delio will provide direct access to funding for start-ups that join the new Fintech Alliance, reports Jane Connolly.
Announced by the Chancellor in April in partnership with the Department for International Trade, the Fintech Alliance officially launches on 10 June, with the aim of supporting growth for UK fintechs.
Delio will provide a platform for start-ups and high net-worth investors to connect. Registered companies can post the project for which they’re seeking funding, track engagement and connect directly with potential investors.
“At Delio, we already work with a wide range of firms to provide effective digital private market solutions,” says co-founder and CEO, Gareth Lewis. “Given the importance of the UK fintech sector, we are really excited now to provide the Fintech Alliance with our platform. Using it will help companies and investors match the best funding opportunities and, in turn, power the continued growth of UK fintech.”
Individuals can register and create a profile on the Fintech Alliance platform for free. Businesses will have to pay a monthly subscription or annual fee, which will be used to fund further initiatives and support other organisations in the UK fintech community.
