Banque Morval and Intesa Sanpaolo unite on Avaloq’s core banking tech
The core banking solution, provided on a Business-Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) basis by Swiss vendor Avaloq, replaced the Ambit Private Banking system from another Swiss vendor, New Access, FinTech Futures understands.
Intesa Sanpaolo is already a user of Avaloq’s tech in Switzerland. The vendor says the latest project was completed in just nine months, fast-tracking the integration of legacy systems, reducing costs and time-to-market. The Swiss bank now has most of its international business, which focuses on private banking, managed on Avaloq’s BPaaS solution, with plans to migrate further international entities of Intesa Sanpaolo to it.
Avaloq CEO, Jürg Hunziker, says the vendor is “delighted to have completed the migration quickly and seamlessly”.
