Clearhaus and Newgen Payments sign payments partnership
European merchant acquirer Clearhaus has signed a partnership agreement with Newgen Payments to deliver a white label payments solution for independent sales organisations (ISOs) and payment service providers (PSPs).
The white-label solution, powered by Newgen Payments and Clearhaus, will allow new and established players to “quickly set up a full-fledged payment solution” with a “fully customisable” technology stack”.
Claus Methmann, CEO of the Clearhaus, reckons that the new partnership will be a step forward: “Over 30 payment service providers across Europe have chosen to partner with us to serve merchants in their local markets. The latest addition of Newgen Payments to our list of integrated partners couldn’t be more perfect, as both companies have a similar technology-first mindset.”
Clearhaus, which claims to have onboarded more than 10,000 ecommerce merchants in 33 European countries, was one of the first acquirers in the Nordic region to introduce Apple Pay and Google Pay to merchants.
Newgen Payments was founded in 2015 by a team of ex-GlobalCollect executives and has offices in Amsterdam and Delhi.
The firm’s CEO, Sunil Jhamb, says of the partnership: “Together with Clearhaus, we will be able to offer a complete payment solution for ambitious ISOs and PSPs that want to differentiate themselves by offering quick on-boarding and best-in-class payment technologies to their merchants.
“In Clearhaus, we have found a trusted partner who cares about innovation just as much as we do.”
