Diebold Nixdorf has extended its strategic partnership and multiyear cloud transformation with Accenture.
According to the two firms, their partnership will “unlock” more than $50 million in incremental savings for the technology firm through to 2023.
The now-accelerated programme features digital automation tools which will “empower a more agile and customer-focused workforce.”
Diebold Nixdorf’s corporate IT systems will be migrated to the cloud, and improvements will be made to the global processes and applications for the company’s 22,000 employees.
Gerrard Schmid, Diebold Nixdorf’s president and chief executive officer, says that the partnership will enable the firm to “meaningfully accelerate” its digital roadmap.
“Automation, improved applications and more agile processes will not only provide better operational performance, but also an enhanced customer experience through new services and solutions.”
