Nord/LB picks Planixs’ Realiti to revamp treasury and liquidity management
German commercial bank Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (Nord/LB) has selected liquidity management firm Planixs and its Realiti software suite.
The platform change is part of the bank’s ongoing banking transformation project. The firm says it wanted a solution to provide “advanced treasury capabilities”.
Founded in 1970, Nord/LB is a public corporation, majority-owned by the federal states of Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
According to Planixs, the bank wanted a platform to automate existing processes, improve liquidity management, and provide an overall view of customer data and accounts.
Nord/LB selected a suite of systems and modules alongside the Realiti platform.
Kornelie-Reiner Steinbach, director for treasury and liquidity management at the bank, says it assessed “the full solution market” and selected Realiti as “the best solution to meet our global needs”.
Neville Roverts, CEO of Planixs, says his firm has seen “significant growth” in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) since 2019.
He says “more and more banking firms are realising the need for real-time insight” when it comes to their treasury operations.
