Perfinal launches as new core banking vendor on the block in Europe
Europe has a new core banking software firm in Hungary-based Perfinal, which claims to offer “full financial automation” for clients.
Founded in late 2020, the software firm believes that the digitisation of manual processes is key for “future first” banks in the market.
“Many platforms promise partial automation by combining fixed silos with ‘smart’ solutions,” the vendor writes on its website.
“This only treats the symptoms and not the underlying cause of incomplete flows.”
Perfinal says it uses an “analytically-governed system” that “fully automates financial processes” and “anticipates the full complexity” of the market.
The vendor is led by CEO Mate Brezovszki, who co-founded portfolio management firm Galaxis Network and blockchain certification company Inventori Solutions.
Perfinal co-founder Imre Fazekas also has a background in blockchain, having founded payments firm NLV8 Technologies and served as an advisor on the technology.
As yet the company appears to have no named customers, but promises it can help build products and banks in “weeks not quarters”.
Hungary has been a happy hunting ground for tech firm Oracle in recent years. The vendor counts both KDB Bank and MKB Bank among its customers in the country.
