TotallyMoney poaches head of data from Tandem Bank
TotallyMoney, a UK-based credit app, has appointed Henry Pearce as head of data.
Pearce moves from Tandem, a UK challenger bank, where he spent four years, most recently as head of data.
“Data is fundamental to creating a fairer credit system that supports financial growth, not inhibits it,” comments Alastair Douglas, CEO of TotallyMoney.
In his new role, Pearce will be “pivotal” in the development and roll-out of upcoming features, providing customers with deeper insights on their borrowing and spending habits, personalised updates, and tips to help improve their credit score and eligibility.
Founded in 2006, TotallyMoney has recently hit four million customers. Its focus is on those struggling to manage their finances – currently estimated to be around 25 million adults in the UK.
The company says it has seen substantial growth in the last year, increasing its workforce by over 20%. At the end of last year, it raised £9 million in funding.
“TotallyMoney is completely changing the game when it comes to financial wellbeing,” Pearce comments on his appointment. “It’s a privilege to be joining a team with so much drive and determination to bring fintech to everyone, helping many to reach their financial goals.”
