Mauritius Commercial Bank in digital modernisation drive with Mobiquity
Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB) has signed with tech specialist Mobiquity to transform its digital banking offering for its one million-strong client base.
Mobiquity is helping MCB to create “a banking lifestyle app that is easy to use, enhances customer experience and appeals to a greater number of younger age groups”, the tech firm says.
The work is already underway on the bank’s Juice 4.0 app for retail clients and has already seen the release of 30+ innovative features, including cardless withdrawal, scan-to-pay, and PayPal integration, Mobiquity says.
It is also working with MCB on a corporate banking solution.
Dylan Slome, product owner in the digitalisation programme at MCB, says the team has been “extremely fortunate to work with Mobiquity” and the partnership has allowed it “to share and learn valuable insights into the world of application development”.
US-based Mobiquity, which is part of Indian IT consultancy firm Hexaware Technologies, describes itself as a “digital enabler”. It designs, builds, markets, and maintains digital products and services for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) brands worldwide. Founded in 2011, it now has a global team of 1,000+ employees.
