Nuula launches operations in Canada for small business owners
Canadian fintech company Nuula has announced its launch in the country. The fintech firm will provide Canadian small business owners “the tools and capital they need to succeed”.
Nuula claims its “super app” helps small business owners track cashflow in real time and alert them to cash shortfalls “before they happen”. Other features include monitoring financial and commercial metrics and customer sentiment such as online ratings and reviews.
The firm’s app also provides financial products such as personal and business insurance and loans, corporate credit cards from Caary Capital and wealth management services from OneVest.
“Nuula’s unique app-based approach delivers a suite of financial products and services that are designed specifically to meet the needs of small businesses, and the entrepreneurs who run them,” says Mark Ruddock, CEO at Nuula.
“This is a first for the Canadian market.”
The Toronto-based firm raised $120 million in funding in September 2021 after launching its app in June 2021.
The app, Nuula says, is now available in the US and all provinces in Canada except Quebec and plans to launch in the UK in late 2022.
