Digital banking tech provider Bankjoy signs up UMe Credit Union
California’s UMe Credit Union has partnered with Michigan-based banking tech provider Bankjoy to provide its members with modern digital banking services.
UMe members will be able to access Bankjoy’s digital banking platform, including mobile and online banking, thanks to its direct integration with UMe Credit Union’s core banking system via banking tech vendor Jack Henry.
Bankjoy says it supports more than 60 integrations with various third-party vendors and other core banking platforms.
Bankjoy CEO Michael Duncan cites research that shows more than 43% of US consumers have switched their primary financial institution because of mobile banking-related reasons and 35% have switched due to online banking-related reasons.
Duncan adds that for this reason, the ability to offer “a feature-rich, fully integrated digital banking platform is essential” .
UMe Credit Union joins three other credit unions who signed up with Bankjoy last year — Wisconsin-based Fort Community Credit Union, Alltrust Credit Union in Massachsetts and Mississippi-based Statewide Federal Credit Union.
Bankjoy recently hired André Jones as vice president of operations as the banking tech provider looks to expand its end-to-end digital service ecosystem.
