Peter Major joins MDT in newly created VP of fintech services role
Member Driven Technologies (MDT), a credit union service organisation (CUSO), has appointed Peter Major as vice president of fintech services, a newly created role at the firm.
Major has 25 years’ experience in the banking industry across front-office, back-office, payments, IT processing, consulting, mergers, conversions, and integrations.
Prior to joining MDT, Major spent more than 15 years with Jack Henry, where he most recently served as the director of Symitar implementations.
In his new role, Major says he will ensure credit unions are “leveraging the technology and solutions that best meet their internal and member service needs”.
Credit unions face “mounting pressure”, MDT says, to select the appropriate fintech solutions in order to optimise success and remain competitive.
MDT chief technology officer Matt Baaki adds: “This new position demonstrates our commitment to keeping a close pulse on the evolving fintech landscape and providing credit unions with access to the right technology for their unique circumstances.”
MDT provides a private cloud alternative for core processing and IT needs including digital banking, payments, lending, cybersecurity, and imaging.
