RTGS.global appoints Jarrad Hubble as permanent CEO
Cross-border settlement fintech RTGS.global has promoted interim CEO Jarrad Hubble to the role of permanent CEO and named Marcus Treacher as its new executive chair.
Hubble was named interim CEO in February this year, taking over from Dave Sissens, who stepped down as CEO for personal reasons. Sissens remains an “active” member of the company, serving as an advisor.
Hubble joined RTGS in April last year as chief commercial officer. With over 15 years of experience in fintech and investment banking, he has previously served in a number of senior roles. Before RTGS, he worked as chief revenue officer at Trade Ledger following stints at NatWest, RBS and Currencies Direct.
Treacher has served on the RTGS board for two years and will take on the newly created executive chair role, where he will support Hubble and his executive team as the business looks to scale.
He brings over three decades of experience to his new role, having previously served on the boards of ClearBank, Nium, Swift and CHAPS Clearing Company. He spent almost 12 years at both HSBC and Citi in senior roles.
Stan Spavold, who has chaired the RTGS.global board since the company’s inception, will remain a “key member” of the board going forward.
Over the last year, RTGS has expanded into the Americas and Asia Pacific regions and claims to have doubled its staff headcount in the process.
