NICE’s robotic automation solution gets the Italian jobs
Italy’s Banca Popolare di Sondrio and Helpline have implemented NICE’s Robotic Automation solutions for loan approvals and credit card fraud prevention.
Banca Popolare di Sondrio, which has 350 branches across the country, decided to implement NICE Robotics to speed up its online loan and credit approvals process.
As a result, NICE says average handle time decreased by more than 80%, from one hour to ten minutes; and data entry errors have “disappeared” from forms and financial statement letters.
Dr. Loris Limonta, deputy head of operations, virtual unit, Banca Popolare di Sondrio, says: “With NICE Robotic Automation, our approval processes are completed without errors and we have seen real savings in terms of handle time, quality and costs.”
Helpline, part of the Istituto Centrale Delle Banche Popolari Italiane (ICBPI) banking group, provides business process outsourcing services for financial institutions and insurance companies throughout Italy.
Helpline uses Robotic Automation to help its fraud prevention agents take quicker action when receiving fraud alerts for “suspicious” credit card transactions.
NICE says the company now handles over 8,000 alerts per month with over 99% accuracy in preventing fraudulent activity.
