Lemanik Asset Management opts for Linedata Compliance
Luxembourg-based Lemanik Asset Management has chosen Linedata’s compliance monitoring software – Linedata Compliance.
To comply with the Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) and Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFM) directives, which impose controls and “transparency discipline”, Lemanik decided to manage its report production by itself and chose Linedata to roll out the tech.
Jennifer Collin, risk manager, with responsibility for investment restrictions at Lemanik, says the software is “flexible, easy-to-use and fully customisable”.
She adds that Linedata’s proximity to Luxembourg (Linedata’s head office is based in France) and its “delivery experience team were also key factors in our choice”.
Operating in real time, Linedata Compliance enables Lemanik’s teams to obtain monitoring of investment restrictions and alerts, which may relate to regulatory or legal constraints, or restrictions imposed by the management company, while “keeping an eye on any exceptions”. Lemanik uses this tool to “tailor its service to its own requirements”.
Founded in 1993 as an independently-owned society, Lemanik also has offices in Dublin and Lugano. It manages more than €20 billion of assets in 230 sub-funds that are distributed across 26 countries.
