Schweizerische Mobiliar Asset Management moves to Profidata Xentis
Bern-based Schweizerische Mobiliar Asset Management has implemented Profidata’s Xentis investment management system for its insurance, pensions and fund management businesses.
Profidata, which is also based in Switzerland, says it was a “challenging project” to roll out the system within a time frame of 17 months. Xentis replaces various legacy applications, “makes several interfaces redundant and automates numerous tasks that were previously performed manually”.
Sven Rump, MD of Mobiliar, says it has “achieved” the goals of automating its activities on one system and “performing them efficiently”.
Mobiliar has been an independent fund manager since 2013 and manages investments worth around CHF 20 billion ($20.1 billion).
Heavenly news
Last year, Germany-based Evangelische Bank implemented Xentis as its central platform for portfolio management and for performing depositary functions; and Xpass for automating all order and trade management processes.
Profidata also acquired Abraxas, a German software and service provider for the financial industry.
