Diamond Credit Union “humanises relationships” with video banking service
Pennsylvania-based Diamond Credit Union has implemented Vidyo’s technology “to unite its community and employees remotely through face-to-face video collaboration”.
Vidyo says the credit union wants “to enhance the member experience by recreating the in-branch experience remotely with natural, intuitive, personal communications” – or in plain English, talk to a credit union employee via a video link.
According to Diamond CU’s VP and CIO, James Daly, “the experience already served to benefit a member beyond what was anticipated – a hearing-impaired member was thrilled to utilise lip-reading while on a video call with one of our mortgage officers.
“The overall feedback since our launch of Vidyo has been outstanding; the platform is simple to use for our members, employees and partners, humanising our relationships across the board.”
Diamond CU has $573 million in assets, 59,000members and 160 employees.
Recently, another credit union in the US – Baxter CU – opted for Vidyo’s tech for its video-only branches.
